Your Opportunity Management and Technology Consulting (MTC) is Stantec's industry leading management consulting team, recognized in providing asset and organizational performance, financial, economic, funding, planning, as well as business and operational technology consulting services to communities and utilities across North America.

The MTC team is also responsible for the business development and delivery of innovative digital related work and consulting services embedded in broader engineering/infrastructure projects and stand-alone projects.
We are seeking a candidate in the Southern part of the United States to provide leadership, delivery of strategic projects, and to drive growth of our suite of service offerings across multiple industries.

Your Key Responsibilities Engage with clients and potential clients to understand their needs and problems and apply MTC solutions to help Stantec grow. Lead and engage in the delivery of projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality services on time and within budget. Work closely with regional leadership in the US South to identify and create opportunities for this offering across the region. Actively contribute to business development for the MTC team and support business development in other geographies. Recruit, mentor, train, develop, and deploy technical talent. Work dynamically with project teams to identify best-fit solutions to business, strategic, infrastructure, and operational issues. Engage in and contribute to strategic planning of the MTC team, focused on business planning and development as well as service offerings in response to industry trends. Maintain and grow client relationships and lead responses to client requests, RFQs, and RFPs. Maintain knowledge of water asset management, regulatory, and technology industry trends. Serve as an independent reviewer of analysis prepared by peers or junior staff to ensure technical accuracy. Meet performance goals and objectives as assigned. Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials Demonstrated technical proficiency in asset management and related areas. Strong network of active client contacts and relationships with business development experience. Ability to lead and deliver complex assignments with a high degree of initiative and independence. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other business systems. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Self-starter capable of efficiently and proactively working independently and with a team. Strong attention to details. Experience leading teams on projects greater than $10M in revenue. 15 years of direct management and supervision responsibilities. Experience with AM standards, practices & applicable legislation. Beneficial to have certification in change management or project management. Education and Experience B.S.
in Business or Engineering disciplines.
MBA or MPA is preferred. 20 plus years of progressive experience in utility management and/or technology implementations within the water infrastructure industry. Typical office environment working with computers.
Field work may include exposure to the elements.
Willing to travel as needed; mostly regional.
Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
