Warby Parker is on the lookout for a Principal Data Scientist who will help shape experimentation and personalization strategy. To make this possible, this role will work closely with all departments across the company: Growth, Product, Ecommerce and Retail. As a functional leader in the Data Organization, you will own the strategy and vision for Experimentation at Warby Parker. In this role, you will drive best practices, help the business create experimentation plans and analyses, derive insights and enable Warby Parker to make data driven decisions at scale.What you'll do: Ask thoughtful questions and listen carefully to get to know your stakeholders' vocabulary, problems, goals, and constraintsWork with Stakeholders to design testing plans for new features, initiatives and campaignsInterpret final results with stakeholders, executives, and the broader company as neededProvide thought leadership in the Experimentation domainGuide the business to achieve aggressive testing goals, while maintaining strict data quality and governance requirements.Who you are:Graduate Degree (Or equivalent work experience) in a quantitative subject (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, etc)Backed by 5+ years of experience in related stakeholder or customer-focused Experimentation function, and 10+ years of relevant experience.Able to exercise independent judgment on all aspects of project execution while also soliciting regular input from colleagues and stakeholdersA confident communicator (in writing and in person) with excellent listening skillsSomeone who works proactively and effectively with people of various skill setsNot on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)Extra credit—definitely not required, but if you have these skills we can put them to good use!Familiarity with Advertising or Customer AnalyticsExperience in an Omni-channel business Experience in a HIPAA covered organizationSome benefits of working at Warby Parker for full-time employees:Health, vision, and dental insuranceLife and AD&D InsuranceFlexible vacation policyPaid HolidaysRetirement savings plan with a company matchParental leave (non-birthing parents included)Short-term disabilityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Bereavement SupportEducation ReimbursementFree eyewearAnd more (just ask!)
