Let's engineer the future together. Responsible for architecting, implementing, and supporting power system solutions for Networking, storage & server systems and related products.
You will help develop hardware solutions to be integrated into common platform designs including processors, high-speed serial interfaces, NPUs, FPGAs, High-speed memory (DDR4/DDR5), and high-speed PCB layout.
You will lead the design of DC-DC switch-mode power supplies and component selection, ensuring designs meet power, thermal, and safety requirements.
Skills & Responsibilities: Design power solutions for custom server & storage and Networking products.Define power architectures and work with SI engineers to define SI constraints.Set standards and achieve cost and performance for products.Make design choices, component selection, and supplier selection.Manage BOM cost and maintain preferred lists for RLC components and DC relevant ICs.Contribute to power delivery system architecture and specifications.Design, analyze, and simulate high current and low noise power delivery circuits.Debug and contribute to system bring-up, debug, and validation in the lab.Write and execute test and DVT plans.Experience: 10+ years industry experience, 5+ years power supply design experience.Familiar with power supply design principles and Intel VR solutions.Proficiency in high efficiency DC-DC power conversion design and circuit simulation.Experience in both high current low voltage multi-phase and ultra-low noise power delivery circuitry.Ability to quickly grasp existing designs and work independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Typical Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's preferred.Travel: Occasional overnight travel is required.Salary Range: $142,000 - 222,000
