We are seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer, PE to join our team in San Jose, CA.
This role reports to the Engineering Director, Site Design and is fully on-site.
The Principal Electrical Design Engineer, PE will develop conceptual designs and implementation specifications for complex solutions, interfacing with a site design team.
Responsibilities include technical site analysis, conceptual design, managing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with code requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for technical content, overseeing, and developing electrical site designs.Review 3rd party designs and custom equipment solutions.Interface with outside 3rd parties to determine technical requirements.Ensure construction documents meet all code requirements.Ensure site design conforms to specifications for fuel cell systems.Skills Required: Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations.Ability to switch between strategic and tactical tasks.Professional, collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented.Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.P.E.
license in California.8+ years of relevant experience in power generation and critical load system design.Construction and/or facility maintenance experience.Experience in power generation installation and design.Knowledge of AutoCAD & SKM.Bloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair compensation practices.
