UI Platform delivers libraries, infrastructure, and tools that power the development of fast, scalable, and familiar frontend experiences across Atlassian. If this sounds like you, we would love to talk.On the first day, we'll expect you to have:Experience with JavaScript build tooling with an interest in optimizing the development loop.Experience developing large-scale high-traffic applications with NodeJS and React & optimizing for performanceA deep understanding of the JavaScript language and ecosystem.Passion for developer productivity and coding patterns at scale.Understanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.Evidence of enjoying sharing knowledge, tips, and tricks and helping other developers.It's great – but not required – for you to have:Great debugging skills and exposure to other languages like Rust are welcome.Operational experience – instrumenting code and monitoring the errors, metrics, and analytics of large-scale web applications.Experience with open-source projects, having contributed to or owned one.Some industry experience with public cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $187,500 - $287,500Zone B: $168,700 - $258,800Zone C: $155,600 - $238,700Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
