JOB SUMMARY

The Wound Pros is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Machine Learning Engineer to drive the advancement of our data science and AI capabilities, focusing on multimodal models, large language models (LLMs), and augmented reality (AR) applications. This role is critical in fast-tracking the maturity of our AI offerings and integrating cutting-edge technologies into our wound care solutions.

WHAT ARE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS

Lead the development and deployment of Computer Vision models.

Explore the development and deployment of multimodal models integrating text, image, and other data types.

Implement and manage MLOps practices to streamline model deployment and monitoring.

Mentor junior data scientists and engineers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services.

Establish best practices and documentation for AI projects.

Conduct research to advance the state-of-the-art in multimodal models, LLMs, and AR.

Optimize model performance and scalability.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on multimodal models and Computer Vision.

Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch.

Proficiency in MLOps tools and practices for automated model deployment and monitoring.

Strong background in large language models (LLMs) and their applications in various contexts.

Knowledge of augmented reality (AR) technologies and their integration with AI solutions.

Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, driving innovation and excellence.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Familiarity with healthcare data regulations and security practices.
