Principal Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Lead engineering business development efforts in the Pacific Northwest by interfacing with clients, bringing in new project work, and contributing to the growth of Mazzetti's healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Plan, organize, and lead mechanical engineering projects in accordance with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the technical work of project teams, collaborate on mechanical designs, and coordinate work within the Mazzetti team to successfully deliver projects from conception to execution.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in building mechanical systems design (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Healthcare and hospital design experience strongly preferred.
Life sciences experience desired.
Proven track record in business development and client relations, or a hire desire to develop these skills and experience.
Strong project management experience, with the ability to drive projects from conception to completion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to oversee the technical work of other team members.
