Principal Machine Learning Scientist (Large Language Models) Location: Hybrid in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA DeepRec.ai seeks a dedicated Principal level Machine Learning Scientist specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs), to join our client's innovative team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
You will be part of an agile, cross-functional team responsible for training SOTA, large-scale models on the scientific data, fine-tuning models with feedback (e.g.
RLHF/DPO) and integrating multimodal scientific data.

Qualifications: Proficient in coding with large language models (e.g., GPT or other autoregressive LLMs)Contributions to top-tier research conferences or journalsExperience in deploying and fine-tuning deep learning models at scale.Proficient in machine learning strategies like lifelong learning and incremental learning.Skilled in ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax) and the Python data science ecosystem.Experience with cloud computing services.PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on ML.Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using AWS services.Experience integrating ML in experimental workflows.
