About the role We're seeking a Principal Product Designer to join the growing Product Design team at Chime. As a Principal Product Designer, you'll work with creative thinkers, tech innovators, and savvy builders to help design and create products that disrupt the financial industry. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco with 3 days per week in the office.
What you can expect Act as an evangelist for design and our membersPartner with cross functional colleagues to create products that bring positive change to our members' lives and grow the companyProvide design critique and offer leadership to others on the teamUse a human-centered design process to solve member problemsContribute to our design standards and push them forwardTo thrive in this role, you have 8-10+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital and mobile experiencesA consistent record of building successful consumer mobile apps.A portfolio of industry defining visual and interaction design samples.The ability to balance business objectives with user needs. You represent both sides and balance your design decisions, getting the best possible outcome for both.The ability to take a first principles approach to sophisticated problems and articulate the decisions behind every design detail.A growth mindset, be an optimist, and be adaptable!
