Convera is seeking an experienced Principal Product Marketing professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of success in bringing new products and solutions to market. The principal product marketing manager will be focused on developing our Partnerships channel for integrated and referral partners with differentiated messaging, positioning, partner personas and partner journey. Reporting to the Global Director, Product Marketing & Industry Solutions, the Principal Product marketing manager serves as a subject matter expert and customer champion for the partnerships channel.

The Principal product marketing manager partners closely with Product Management and Commercial teams to deliver programs to drive awareness, generate interest and deliver growth for the partnerships channel.

You will:

Develop, own and articulate differentiated value propositions, compelling benefits, partner outcomes and the positioning for your portfolio of products with a focus on our partners.

Serve as the expert on the market and customers for our partnerships channel, including prospect partner personas, market trends, opportunities and challenges.

Understand the competition at a granular level and how to position our solutions based on our differentiators. Conduct competitive and market research, develop ideal partner profiles, and conduct in-depth analysis.

Lead go-to-market efforts for new product launches and marketing programs, including developing positioning, messaging, value proposition and integrated marketing plans.

Generate case studies, testimonials, customer videos and other customer driven marketing and sales assets for your partner channel.

Collaborate with product management to understand the roadmap, new feature/offer plans and proactively plan for new releases around your product portfolio.

Build sales enablement tools such as battlecards, pitch decks, one-pagers etc, and support sales training efforts to educate them on Convera benefits and go-to-market strategy for your product portfolio.

You should apply if you have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

7+ years of B2B product marketing experience with direct responsibility for positioning, messaging, solution packaging and customer journey definition.

Mastery of traditional product marketing techniques and best practices.

Creative problem solver with a growth mindset; actively and intuitively seeks ways to simplify process and improve performance.

Demonstrated sound business judgement and the ability to think strategically about a quickly growing business alongside the interest and ability to dive into tactical details.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use research, hard data and metrics to challenge assumptions, generate credible forecasts and solve problems.

Comfortable with ambiguity, able to set strategic direction and execute effectively in a global matrixed organization.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of owning and writing complex documents and presenting / influencing VP+ stakeholders.
