We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and innovative Principal Scientist with several years of academic or industry experience post-Ph.D. to lead vaccine and immunological therapies and technologies in the infectious disease space. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in immunology with emphasis on B and T cell biology, experience in infectious disease models, and be able to tackle complex research scenarios. In this role you will independently conduct and lead cross-collaborative research projects, develop novel vaccine technologies and approaches, and assess efficacy of candidate vaccines and therapeutic molecules.
A typical day in the life of a Principal Scientist on this team may include the following:
Drive research projects forward through collaborative involvement or through mentoring of direct reportsPerform various immunological assays to interrogate B and T cell immunity (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISPOTs, cell-kill assays, ELISAs, etc.)Independently design, conduct, analyze in vitro and in vivo experimentsRoutinely present findings in a variety of scientific settings within and across departmentsEstablish new vaccination methods and technology to drive desired B cell and antibody immunityEvaluate candidate vaccines or novel vaccine platforms in various infectious disease modelsThis role might be for you if:

Salary Range (annually): $124,200.00 - $202,800.00
