Principal System Administrators collaborate with a diverse team to support critical programs with classified information system capabilities.They develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs.They work with program teams to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.

Responsibilities
• Provide IT systems administration in a Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity.• Maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.• Install and configure software applications.• Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.• Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification.• Work beyond standard work hours as systems are operational 24x7.• Travel to other US Domestic locations as needed, up to 5% travel.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.• Current and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance.• Experience with Windows, Active Directory, VMware, Veeam, AWS, MySQL, Remote Desktop Gateway, Netwrix, backup and recovery suites.• Experience with server architectures and troubleshooting methods.• Ability to develop solutions and documentation to technical problems.• Linux experience highly desired.• VMware experience highly desired.
