Here, you will make an impact by:Providing toxicology support for product development across Solventum globally in our Medical Surgical business, including technical guidance to product development and product responsibility teams, preparation of hazard/risk assessments and toxicological risk assessment of extractables/leachables.Guiding development teams on material selection to design for safetyCommunicating toxicity testing and risk assessment results internally and externally through oral presentations, written biological evaluation reports, and publications.Providing technical guidance to other staff groups involved with regulatory and hazard communication issues for assigned divisions.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 5 years of job-related experience in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Chemical, or Biological SciencesORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND 9 years of job-related experience in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Chemical, or Biological SciencesAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Chemical, or Biological Sciences from an accredited institutionBoard-certification in toxicology from the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) or equivalent (e.g., ERT)Five (5) years of experience in the conduct/design of mammalian toxicology studies and/or human health risk assessment in a private, public, government or military environmentExperience with evaluation of health care products according to US and international regulatory standards, such as ISO 10993Experience with QSAR, computational toxicology, chemical read-across, and non-animal methodsExperience as a toxicology study monitor at contract research laboratoriesExperience interacting with the US FDA, EU notified bodies, or other governmental regulatory agenciesExperience communicating toxicology results or human health hazard/risk assessments through both oral and written methodsExcellent written, verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilitiesWork location:Remote Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
