Supervises a team of approximately 15 full-time employees and temporary staff.
Along with administrative tasks related to a supervisory position, this role also performs work including but not limited to coordinating production with other management; workforce and resource scheduling; process improvement and documentation; internal and external audits; quality control; inventory management; and developing a strong working relationship with the USPS and overnight vendors. Print and Mail Operations Supervisor Responsibilities: Manage workflow including handwork, machine inserting, sorting, and other mail production work to consistently meet client deliverables and organizational targets.Provide regular detailed reporting to management on status, throughput, and department productivity.Continuously review and update department operating procedures to maximize efficiency and ensure ongoing improvement.Staffing management for 15 + employees and temporary staff, including strong management of overtime.Performance management of full-time staff including ongoing coaching and feedback, disciplinary actions, annual objective setting and reviews, and individual development plans for top performers.
Coach employees, train employees, and conduct performance reviews.Maintain company standards, ensuring employee conduct aligns with company values.
Always ensuring the company upholds and maintains a safe and adequate work environment.Apply knowledge of USPS rules and regulations for mailing. Print and Mail Operations Supervisor Qualifications: 3+ years experience managing a production team with proven accomplishments to exemplify the ability to meet the expectations of this position.Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in presenting to management.Knowledge of USPS rules and regulations is required.Strong Computer skills- Microsoft Office Suite.
