We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in our Instrumentation Systems Division.
Responsibilities: Verifies that received material meets the requirements specified on the purchase order, drawing(s), and/or specificationApproves or rejects items and records inspection disposition information.
Verifies that assembled printed circuit boards, cables, and mechanical assemblies are as specified on the drawing(s), parts lists, or specificationsReviews traveler, inspection record, missing material report and closing transfer for completeness and accuracyVerifies that assembly workmanship complies with approved workmanship standards and/or specificationsMaintains files necessary to provide documents proof of assembly, inspection and test of completed assembliesAssists assembler and inspectors to identify components/hardwareRead and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and standards. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferredMinimum one-year technical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably including visual inspectionKnowledge in IPC workmanship standardsFamiliarity with rulers, pin gauges, micrometers and calipersBasic computer skills required.Excellent written and verbal skills are requiredAbility to read/interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and standardsAbility to recognize component marking and symbolsAbility work with limited supervision
