Red Book Solutions is part of the Fourth family and is a print and bindery company that designs, prints, and builds operations books for all major restaurants. We strive to serve as the business and solution experts providing expertise to customers in the hospitality industry and supporting the Fourth team in growing the business. We need a bindery equipment operator with experience to start as soon as possible.
Our Print Bindery Operator will work to meet the daily production schedule through efficient use of department tools and resources with a high degree of quality. Make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and timely flow of materials. The ideal candidate will perform the assembly/bindery of print products and will assist with packing and shipments. They must ensure product assemblies meet production and client requirements.
\n The Role. . .Able to resolve most downtime issues related to machinery/equipment maintenance or material issues. Able to work in different areas (finishing, book building, shipping or where needed).Required to stand for an 8-hour shift and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Able to lift 50 lbs. Work off written instructions with little supervision. Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your work.Complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standardsQuality control of completed jobs.Be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative. The Ideal Candidate. . .Proficient in the use of required machinery/equipment such as coilers and cutters. Mechanically inclined and production oriented.Experience working as a team. Experience in the print industry Experience as a bindery operator, cutter, folder, or booklet maker is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.Previous work in a manufacturing environment
