ROLE OVERVIEWThe Medical Services Coordinator is a point of contact between multiple parties including patients, physicians, pharmacy staff, and others. Taking charge of day-to-day operations of the Medical Services team by working as a liaison between leadership and Medical Services staff to ensure operations are covered and completed in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIESAssist medical staff with necessary aspects of patient careEnsure timely and professional communication with medical staff and patientsAnswer all incoming calls to the medical services departmentAddress all voicemail messages left on patient lineCommunicate messages to medical staff via EMR messagingImmediately attend to emergent issuesCompletion of medical records-related tasks as assignedScan all hard-copy correspondence into clients EMR recordPrepare any prescription paperwork correspondence from medical staff for patients to pick up with proper documentationSecure any release of information forms required by clientsFacilitate communication between patient, medical provider, and pharmacySKILLS & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent; medical administrative services certification preferred2+ years of experience in medical administrative servicesAbility to work independently and as a team memberStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational and follow-through skills and attention to detailAbility to multi-taskProficient knowledge of medical terminologyQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United StatesLifeStance is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
