The Apple Service Engineering team is looking for a Privacy Compliance engineer with strong knowledge on privacy regulations and standards, technical curiosity, and strong understanding of project and product management cycles.
DescriptionCollaborate with legal and privacy teams across Apple regarding applicable Privacy laws, regulations, and policies.Participate in the development of new Apple policies and implement relevant processes and procedures.Assess ASE infrastructure and applications against new Privacy laws, regulations, and policies.Identify gaps and develop remediation plans to comply with Privacy laws, regulations, and policies.Translate Legal requirements into implementation requirements and collaborate with engineering teams around the implementation.Monitor and build continuous compliance processes.Answer regulatory inquiries in collaboration with Legal and engineering teams.Communicate effectively between Legal, privacy, and engineering teams.Minimum Qualifications5 years of experience in privacy compliance and/or privacy engineering role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong organizational management skills.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and reporting skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience conducting compliance assessments, audits, and risk assessments.Excellent understanding of Privacy laws, regulations, and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, DMA, DSA, HIPAA.Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.Additional RequirementsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
