Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient "medically complex" practice provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adults with complex medical conditions and mental health disorders.
Position: Working closely with the practice staff, this PRN/part-time employed psychiatrist will provide on-site consultation for diagnosis and therapeutic interventions for patients of the practice who have mental health problems. Position will provide medication management coverage for full-time psychiatrist during leave (PTO, vacation, CME). The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse adult patient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial interdisciplinary team, and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Support: The practice includes 1 physician, and 1 psychologist. Subspecialty consultants, outpatient lab and inpatient resources are located on-campus. This practice is a part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) Clinics.
