Frisco First Surgery Center is looking for a PRN Certified Surgical Tech to join our growing team in Plano, TX! The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in best practices within the intraoperative clinical setting, working alongside surgeons and nurses.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates competency in assisting with all surgeries and accepts surgeon feedback as constructive learning opportunities. Demonstrates knowledge of all surgical instruments and anticipates the next instrument in need without repetitive surgeon requests. Demonstrates competency in all positioning techniques for the surgeries they are participating in. Demonstrates safe stabilized placement on the appropriate bed/table, with the appropriate operation setup, safety measures, and utilization of all necessary equipment, stabilizers, padding, wrapping, and/or attachments. REQUIREMENTS: 3 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech. Formal education in surgical technology and assisting. 2 years of Orthopedic and Spine Procedures experience (required). BLS certification. Active license in Surgical Technology or be grandfathered in. Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
