Primary Duties: Conducts assessments for patients to establish diet and food guidelines.
Develop and implement an individualized plan for medical nutrition therapy in accordance with patients medical needs, goals and objectives.
Assigned Critical Care Units and General Medicine Floors.
Must be flexible to cross-train to Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU.
Work closely with Food Service team to assure conformance to diet prescriptions.
Performs at least one annual formal professional presentation in the area of specialty to medical or allied health professionals.
Qualifications: Master's degree M.S.
degree in food and nutrition with approved training from the American Dietetic Association required.
5-7 years Progressive clinical nutrition experience required OR 3-4 years Clinical nutrition experience along with CDE - Certified Diabetes Educator Certification or CNSD - Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian/Clinician required.
Licensed in District of Columbia required or eligible to apply for DC licensure required.
This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041
