SALARY: $120.00 per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVUs compensation plan.
RVUs full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Primary Purpose:
Looking for a motivated intermal medicine attending to complete our team.
Academic background preferable.
Must love to teach both didatics and clinical medicine.
Will be responsible for covering 2 Fridays a month and vacation time for other attendings.
Great MA support, flexible scheduling.
Athena EMR with access to CORIO.
Provide both indirect supervision with direct supervision immediately available and direct supervision of internal medicine residents in their continuity clinic.
Teaching residents the full scope of primary care services which fall under the specialty of internal medicine including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health mainte nance to patients.
Demonstrate experience and expertise in clinical medicine when instructing medical students in the college of osteopathic medicine including the early clinical experience in the 2nd year.
Essential Job Functions:
Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment.
Prescribe medication in accordance with Colorado statute and professional practice guidelines.
Arrange referral for patients requiring services not offered at Rocky Vista Health Center.
Review incoming reports (e.g.
lab, x-ray, EKG) sign, date and follow-up in a timely manner.
Comply with the Rocky Vista Health Center Infection Control plan which includes personally utilizing universal precautions.
Ensure compliance by support staff.
Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.
Assist in outside medical public relations functions.
Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings.
Instruct medical students while providing mentorship and motivation for learning in the clinical setting.
Participate in lab supervision of OMM students.

Minimum Qualifications: Terminal Degree from an accredited institution (MD/DO).
One (1)-three (3) years working in a clinical setting.
Good standing with all regulatory and governmental boards and agencies.
Eligible for coverage by colleges malpractice insurer if applicable.
