1 or 2 days per week as available in Granby, 90 minutes West of Denver - *Overnight Housing Available!*Responsibilities:*1 or 1 .5 days per week as available PRN *- Perform mammography procedures on patients following established protocols and guidelines.- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functioning and image quality.- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to ensure accurate imaging.- Review and evaluate mammography images for quality and diagnostic value.- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results.- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.Requirements:- Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist.- Proficiency in performing mammography procedures using various imaging modalities.- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation.- Familiarity with other medical imaging techniques such as CT, PET scan, sonography, and X-ray is a plus.- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
