Established successful boutique law firm in the Houston area seeks a Probate and/or Guardianship Litigation Attorney with 3+ yrs.
experience; High energy team, great culture, and support in a fast-moving office.


Responsibilities

• Supervise paralegals and other staff working on your cases.

• Meet with, advise and counsel clients and represent clients in Court.

• Communicate with clients regarding case updates.

• Manage calendar of deadlines and ensure all filings are completed prior to deadlines with the Court.

• Draft and finalize legal documents.

• Ability to travel to our satellite offices as needed.

• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

• And the big one is to strong desire to win in Court.

Qualifications

• Licensed member of the Texas State Bar.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience practicing in probate, estate administration, and guardianship.

• Familiarity case law, legal research and preparing legal documents.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to build rapport with clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Trial experence is a must, jury trial is a plus.
