Probate Paralegal
Probate Paralegal needed in our Boca Raton and Downtown Fort Lauderdale offices to join our Trust and Estates Practice Group.
The Paralegal will have extensive knowledge regarding probate, including prior experience with guardianships and trust modifications.
The candidate should be organized, have strong written communication skills, handle a high-volume fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail, and take initiative to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
The candidate should have a minimum of three to five years' experience in a law firm setting supporting a Trust and Estates Practice Group.
Salary based on experience. What You'll Do:

Provide legal support to attorneys.
Prepare probate pleadings and other legal documents.
Marshal inventory and distribution of assets.
Handle IRS forms such as gift tax (709) and estate tax (706) returns.
Record documents and deeds with courts, and manage e-filing.
Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy.
Prepare invoices, create cover letters, and send out to clients.
Enter time and print reports as requested.
Maintain client files, including preparing documents for signings.
Communicate daily with clients in a professional manner.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
What You'll Bring: 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm setting supporting a Trust and Estates Practice Group.
Extensive knowledge of probate, guardianships, and trust modifications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
