Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary/Overview:
As a member of the embedded Flash (eFlash) process integration team, the engineers are responsible for performing activities that will setup a new product and ensure a successful launch. This role includes the ability to understand eFlash integration into CMOS, flash stack formation, flash stack etch and characterization. The engineer will focus on a module of the flow and the integration of that module, and work with a team, so module experience in RX, PC, SD, HK-MG, MOL, BEOL are valuable. The engineer will be involved in the setup of the initial CMOS flow, eFlash cell, BKMs, measurements, etc. Flash integration/device knowledge is a strong plus and strong FEOL integration skills are desirable. The ideal candidate will also have understanding of FEOL CMOS flow.
Specific Job Duties:
• Work with tool and unit process owners to optimize the processes for the eFlash cell and integration.
• Setup and collect inline and physical measurements on the prototype lots with the integrated eFlash.
• Understand and verify the process control window using characterization, yield and cycling results.
• Understand the product design and layout to decide on product specific weakpoints and how they may affect the eFlash.
• Run customer sample silicon and determine the appropriate measurements to ensure the success of qualification and timely transition to mass production.
• Ensure the initial success of mass production with specialized DOEs and other safe launch procedures.
• Designs and runs all aspects of experiments to test hypotheses.
• Able to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
• Familiar with foundry style semiconductor manufacturing and logic semiconductor manufacturing.
