Job Title: Procurement and Inventory Supervisor Location: Houston, Texas Department: Supply Chain Job Summary: The Procurement and Inventory Supervisor at Pipecare Group will oversee the procurement and inventory management processes within the Inline Inspection (ILI) industry. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services, while maintaining optimal inventory levels to support operational efficiency and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous improvement.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.Implement inventory management systems and practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.Coordinate with production and project teams to forecast inventory needs and adjust stock levels accordingly.Order, receive (GR), and manage minimum/maximum levels for order intake, spares, and consumables.Prepare shipments for both incoming and outgoing materials.Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with Pipecare Group policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Prepare and present regular reports on procurement and inventory performance to senior management.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement and inventory management efficiency.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of procurement and inventory staff.Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably within the ILI or related industry.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Ability to travel to supplier sites and company facilities as needed.Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional travel to supplier sites and company facilities.Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines.Physical and Mental Requirements: Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
