Sourcing quality and standards manufacturers, and vendors from China for our various types of products. Mainly within construction, and metal manufacturing. Involvement in manufacturers' communication, negotiation, and closing deals. Oversees supply needs, and approves the ordering of necessary goods and services. Manage workflow from initiation to completion of both purchased orders and deliveries. Responsible for sourcing goods, materials, and services at competitive prices.Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggesting methods to decrease expenditure.Know-how of sourcing and implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company from China to the US and different part of the world.Discover profitable suppliers from across the key sourcing locations.Maintain and update the supplier database and find alternative suppliers if the existing ones are unable to meet their obligations.Work with the growth team and other stakeholders to manage and execute new product developments.Establishing standards with regard to quality, and delivery, and finalizing purchase details of orders and deliveries.Researching and keeping abreast with the latest market trend.Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes. Oversee the quality assurance and quality control practices at each step, and meet the importing regulations. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing), and flexible to work in different timezones. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, and sourcing operations. Preferable in the eCommerce space. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing from China, and Importing to the US. Having Canadian, and European importing experience is a plus. Practical working experience with HTS and product categorization import custom procedure. Experience in Metal manufacturing, construction, and/or outdoor decoration is a big plus. Knowledge of construction Engineering is a plus. Strong Negotiation skills with manufacturers mainly from China, vendors, agent brokers, and consumers. High level of emotional intelligence, communication skills, problem-solving, and time management. Strong with data analysis, reporting, dashboards and spreadsheets, and presentation skills.
