HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?


The Procurement Business Analyst will have deep knowledge of procurement processes and procedures to include either development of, facilitation of both of the following.
Development of scope Evaluation Criteria Understanding of and or development of business and technical requirements Assisting with Questions and Answers Negotiations Understanding of contracting processes upon Award is a plus IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE: Technical Skills Understanding of Procurement Regulations: Familiarity with laws and regulations governing public procurement. Contract Management: Ability to draft, negotiate, and manage contracts effectively, including handling disputes and ensuring compliance. Financial Acumen: Knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to manage procurement budgets and assess value for money. Data Analysis: Skills to analyze procurement data, market trends, and supplier performance to make informed decisions. Project Management Planning and Organization: Ability to develop and implement procurement plans, schedules, and milestones. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Process Optimization: Streamlining procurement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Legal and Ethical Knowledge Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Ethics: Maintaining integrity and transparency to avoid conflicts of interest and corruption. Communication Skills Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate with and manage expectations of various stakeholders, including vendors, internal departments, and the public. Report Writing: Creating clear and concise reports on procurement activities, decisions, and performance. Interpersonal Skills Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve procurement goals. Customer Service: Addressing concerns and providing support to internal and external clients. Strategic Thinking Market Research: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and understanding market conditions. Innovation: Adopting and implementing new procurement technologies and methodologies to improve processes. Problem-Solving Critical Thinking: Analyzing complex situations and developing effective solutions. Adaptability: Handling unexpected challenges and changes in the procurement landscape.
