POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead team responsible for freight, MRO supplies, equipment, packaging, utilities and services to maintain operations at US Production facilities. Manages development and execution of Procurement processes in line with established metrics Delivers cost reduction in managed spend categories by actively pursuing cost reduction opportunities and negotiating with suppliers Develops contracts and service agreements with suppliers, ensures supply base delivers to the expected service levels and KPIs defined Collaborates with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues Locates, qualifies, and establishes a network of vendors to supply materials and services Leads SAP and Business process improvement initiatives impacting managed spend areas Prepares bid requests and reviews supply quotations. Leads Procurement projects and participates in cross-functional projects as assigned. Communicates effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and leadership. Coach and Mentor direct reports, and other Procurement team members.
