We are seeking individuals who can drive sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts. Key job responsibilities: Establish sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to drive cost savings.Drive and manage supplier relationships to enhance collaboration and achieve business goals.Manage high spend categories, being accountable for cost savings, with a minimum of $80M in category spend.Lead strategic sourcing activities to lower the overall total cost of ownership for Amazon operations.Develop and negotiate framework agreements to reduce risk and support local teams in project-specific needs.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing and category management in indirect categories such as professional services, support or maintenance spend, supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience5+ years of data analysis experienceKnowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related fieldSpecific experience in driving process improvements in procurement.Technical aptitude and familiarity with complex procurement systems.Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
