Nor-Cal Controls provides engineering services for utility-scale renewable energy power plants, and we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our stellar team! As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for generating equipment checklists (EC) and bills of materials (BOM) for various engineering projects. You will also be ordering, tracking, and updating in-bound equipment shipments from vendors while keeping the project team up-to-date on developments. This is a full-time position that is open to in-office, hybrid, or remote work options with a starting salary of $22 - $28/hour.

Company activities, social Fridays, and more!What a successful Procurement Specialist will accomplish in the first 90 days: Learn Nor-Cal's core business and project lifecycle.Develop professional relationships with the project team.Demonstrate Nor-Cal's Core Values.Position Requirements: High School diploma and 1-3 years of administrative experience (procurement experience preferred).Adept at picking up technical jargon and understanding technical concepts.Strong computer skills with proficiency in Adobe/PDF, Excel, and Word (QuickBooks experience preferred).Excellent professional communication skills, written and verbal.Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST. Must be willing to work PST. Compensation is based on several factors including relevant experience, education, and locality. The advertised range is based on California market rates and may be adjusted based on where a candidate resides.
