Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Procurement Specialist Location: Cranbury, NJ Pay Rate: $24-$26 per hour Job Type: Temporary/Contract Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Handle the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services. Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any issues. Cost Management: Analyze pricing and delivery options to achieve the best value for the company, while adhering to budget constraints. Purchase Orders: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure that materials are available as needed without overstocking. Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and correspondence. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure alignment on procurement needs and priorities. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or a related field. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, but not required. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
