FOODMatch is searching for a Product Fulfillment Coordinator to join our Samples team.
This role will be a temporary part-time role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Job Description Job Summary

The Product Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for creating custom packages of specialty food samples to support the national sales team in securing new business.
Success in this role relies on careful attention to product quality (both taste and visual) and meticulous execution of shipping and fulfillment tasks.
This is a highly hands-on role, often involving the preparation individual product cups, along with the handling and shipping of jars, tins, and cases.


Essential Functions PRODUCT PREPARATION AND SHIPMENT Prepare, sample, and ship product requests from the national sales team, ensuring high attention to detail and product quality.
Preparing up to 200 cups of product a week.
Learn and master FOODMatch's catalog of over 400 products, including tasting, asking questions, and taking detailed notes to ensure product accuracy.
Label, package, and ship all requests using care and technique.
Responsible for shipping out a multitude of packages across the country.
It is essential that they are packed and labeled appropriately.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT Assist in the management of the sample and supply inventory room, including ordering products from the warehouse and supplies from vendors as needed.
Maintain a keen understanding of product movement based on past order history.
Prepare internal inventory and cost reports.
QUALITY CONTROL Work closely with the Quality Control department to record data (e.g., LOT numbers and quality reviews) for products moving in and out of the warehouse and office.
Ensure that all product handling meets FOODMatch's high standards for quality and food safety.
COMMUNICATION AND COORDINATION Efficiently communicate with the internal departments regarding request details, changes, and shipping confirmations.
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT Maintain a clean and food-safe environment for sample preparation, including washing and sanitizing workspaces, dishes, composting food products, and organizing the walk-in fridge and freezer.
Qualifications Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working with firm, daily deadlines and able to handle unexpected, time-sensitive requests Prior experience as a restaurant expediter, foodservice employee, or fulfillment specialist preferred Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs Self-motivated and able to work independently with a commitment to excellence To truly succeed at FOODMatch, you need to have a passion for food.
