Product Manager - Bim & Gis Integration

Overview Join Esri and help shape the future of the ArcGIS geospatial platform's integration with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and CAD supporting our users in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) sectors of built assets.

As product manager, you will identify, synthesize, and prioritize requirements from customers and key industry partners.
You will formulate and maintain a strategic plan in collaboration with software development and stakeholders, on a growing collection of capabilities that meet customer needs for improved project delivery and asset management.
You'll be an integral part of our efforts addressing market demand for the convergence of GIS and BIM, extending the reach of ArcGIS in the Autodesk cloud offerings, and communicating these advancements with customers, staff, and partner software vendors.

Responsibilities Direct product management responsibilities for ArcGIS GeoBIM and future integration efforts Clarify, prioritize, and evangelize the ArcGIS GeoBIM and related technologies roadmap required to meet key market and customer segment adoption milestones Engage with strategic customers and partners to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and understand business workflows, specifically focusing on the integration of Esri technology with leading vendor technology and business models Assist senior/principal product managers in the development and maintenance of the portfolio vision, strategy, and roadmap for GIS and BIM integration Align roadmap with platform goals for data interoperability, user experience, and technology adoption Team with software development to drive user stories focused on value-added workflows Develop deep knowledge of relevant industry-related integration technologies on multiple platforms Review and support product resources such as technical papers, blogs, documentation, and presentations Collaborate with marketing teams on product go-to-market plans and briefs, working with Esri channels and distributors to drive execution Communicate product plans and messaging to partners and distributors to evangelize Esri's role in strategic industries Analyze potential partner relationships Be an active member in our partnership relation with Autodesk Requirements 2+ years of proven experience in the development, release, and support of software technology Proven experience in AECO technology on multiple platforms, especially Autodesk, Bentley, and IFC-related products and technologies Experience with 3D technology for visualization, GIS, engineering, or infrastructure planning Ability to present and cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partners Ability to work well with remote management and staff Capable of effectively documenting and verbally communicating market requirements to software development technical staff Experience developing productive relationships with customers, partners, colleagues, and management Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills Self-motivated, creative, and team-oriented Ability to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshows Bachelor's in GIS, computer science, engineering, or other relevant field Recommended Qualifications Master's in GIS, computer science, engineering, or other relevant field Consulting services and/or project management experience associated with AECO practice, applications, or technologies in real-world contexts Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and design techniques #LI-DV2

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy.
Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
