Product Manager, Construction
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a deep understanding of the construction industry to join our team.
This role requires a unique blend of product management expertise and industry knowledge to drive the development of solutions that address the key challenges within the construction sector.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product strategy, roadmapping, and problem-solving, specifically within the construction industry or closely related fields.
Key Responsibilities: Product Roadmap & Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external stakeholders and internal partners, to develop and refine the product roadmap.
Ensure that the roadmap addresses key construction industry challenges and aligns with our overall business goals.
Industry Expertise & Problem Solving: Leverage your deep understanding of the construction industry to identify pain points, regulatory hurdles, and operational inefficiencies.
Develop solutions that cater to these specific issues, with a focus on revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
Regulatory Compliance: Navigate and address regulatory challenges across different cities and regions.
Ensure that our products are compliant and optimized for various regulatory environments within the construction industry.
Customer & Market Insights: Engage with industry professionals to gather insights on needs, problems, and emerging trends.
Use this information to inform product development and strategy, ensuring our offerings meet the demands of our target market.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams, to develop and execute on the product roadmap.
Ensure alignment between product strategy and company objectives.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that address shipping, regulatory, and other external challenges.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to define our value proposition and effectively position our products in the market.
Revenue Generation & Monetization: Work in tandem with the revenue officer to identify and capitalize on monetization opportunities within the construction industry.
Help define our ideal customer set and tailor our offerings to meet their needs.Qualifications: Extensive experience in product management, with a focus on construction technology, construction consulting, or related fields.
Deep understanding of construction processes, industry challenges, and regulatory environments.
Proven ability to develop and execute product roadmaps that solve industry-specific problems.
Strong external-facing skills with experience in gathering customer insights and translating them into actionable product strategies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Experience in navigating regulatory hurdles and developing compliant solutions.
Strategic thinker with a focus on revenue generation and market positioning.
Preferred Experience: Experience working in or with consulting firms.
Familiarity with construction tech but not limited to ERP systems like Procore.
A blend of experience in both product management and revenue generation roles.
