Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Envizi ESG Suite is the leading software platform that empowers organizations to collect, manage, and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data, driving sustainability performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
The IBM Envizi Supply Chain Intelligence module captures and aggregates high-volume product, supplier and economic data to underpin scope 3 emissions calculations and benchmark supplier emissions performance relative to targets.
The module incorporates a powerful supplier engagement portal that facilitates client-supplier collaboration to streamline data collection and validation processes.
As Product Manager for Envizi Supply Chain Intelligence, you will be responsible for driving growth of the Supply Chain Intelligence module and propelling IBM Envizi's market leadership position in carbon accounting and ESG reporting.
You will lead cross-functional teams, gather user feedback, and collaborate with engineering to design and implement innovative solutions for data management and supplier collaboration for our customers.
Additionally, you will manage the product roadmap, prioritize features and enhancements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and features that continue to delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative software product capabilities for data management, analysis, and visualization.
Define concepts and product specifications to enhance our supplier engagement capabilities including data capture forms, validation, scoring and benchmarking.
Define concepts and product specifications to further extend scope 3 emissions calculation methodologies and address other Supply Chain 'sustainability' use-cases.
Establish conceptual information architectures for supply chain ESG solutions.
Create detailed requirements / user stories and work with development to implement
Stay current with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to ensure the product remains relevant and differentiated.
Gather and analyze user feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product development and positioning.
Understand customer needs, pain points, and business requirements, and use this insight to inform product development and improvements.
Develop and maintain relationships with sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless sales process, including product demonstrations and product technical assistance.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in Product Management, preferably in a SaaS or software company.
Knowledge of carbon accounting, sustainability, and emissions reduction principles.
Understanding of data management, analytics, and visualization technologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working directly with clients and partners.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer success.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a Sustainability-related field.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Domain experience in corporate sustainability compliance, regulation, and implementation.
Domain experience in GHG emissions accounting and ESG risk management.
Domain experience in supply chain operations
Experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions and data integration platforms.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software product development frameworks.
Hands-on experience with supply chain data involved with creating customer solutions.
Working knowledge of web technologies and/or data analytics.
Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics.
Proven ability to create compelling enablement materials (Presentations, Marketing Videos, Technical Documents).
Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a Sustainability-related field.
