Our digital product team is critical to enabling our kidney care platform, and our product team supporting CKD EHR by Epic is growing!
We have an opportunity for a Product Manager to lead a product solution to a critical business problem.
Your primary activities will include defining vision, strategy, and OKRs for your product area, and then executing your product vision across multiple Epic applications for different user groups.
We are looking for someone who is an expert relationship builder, has a bias towards action, can collaborate with cross-functional teams, and is obsessive about breaking down complex problems into product solutions with their Epic analyst teams.
General Information about the Epic CKD EHR Team:
DaVita Physicians Solutions has established a partnership with Epic, the market leader in Electronic Health Records (EHRs), with the goal of maximizing physician satisfaction and improving the quality outcomes of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients.
The tools and support the team delivers are used by nephrology practices to manage CKD patient populations in promoting better outcomes and interoperability, while improving physician experience and aiding in revenue cycle practice management.
DaVita Physician Solutions CKD EHR by Epic, is offered to nephrology practices that are independently owned and operated.
Many of these practices are smaller than typical Epic customers and value independence while leveraging the best available industry technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ownership/Creation Product's Roadmap
* Perform Physician shadowing/conduct interviews
* Deeply understand DaVita's business and problems that are business leaders need us to solve to advance our corporate strategy
* Capture user feedback
* Evaluate and rank potential features
Fulfill duties of Product Owner for DaVita CKD EHR Team
* Write requirements, and user stories
* Prioritize features
* Manage backlog of features
* Prepare for and participate in PI/enhancement planning in collaboration with technical teams
* Providing clarification on user stories, objectives, and priorities
* Partner with legal, compliance, privacy, and risk to mitigate Village risk
* Lead governance process to gather feedback from customers
* Lead monthly sprint cycle process
Partner with Training, Customer Success Managers, Analysts, Project Managers, and other CKD EHR teams to clarify and design solutions
Perform Product Analytics, define and measure feature success criteria

Education and Experience
* 6+ years experience
* Bachelor's Degree required
Required:
* Exceptional problem-solving, organization, communication skills

* Strong relationship building skills and the ability to partner with technical, clinical, and senior business stakeholders to accomplish goals
Preferred:
* 3+ years of product experience in an agile environment, focused on digital products preferred
* Experience building health tech products and 0-1 products from inception to launch
* Experience writing requirements for user stories or software features, creating complex spreadsheets or presentations, working in health care, or working towards the delivery of web or mobile applications
* Knowledge and experience in the following areas:
* Epic Community Connect
* Nephrology and kidney care
* Project management
* Proficiency with the following tools:
* Epic tools such as Orion, Nova, and Sherlock
* Asana
* Target Process
* JIRA
* ProductBoard
* Proficiency with the following tools:
* Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, and Sharepoint
* One or more of the following Epic Build Certification(s):
* Cadence, Prelude, Real Time Eligibility, Referrals
* EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere, MyChart, HIM/Identity
* Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, Contracts, Electronic Remittance, Charge Router,
* Data Courier
* Security
* Reporting Workbench
* Product Management Certification
Travel: Up to 25% for visits to customer practices, team meetings, conferences, and training
Nights/Weekends: Occasional nights and weekend work needed during onsite trips and to support urgent issues
Language Skills
Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.
Work Environment
Level III - Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic).
No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor.
The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids or other hazardous conditions.

Salary/ Wage Range
$91,000.00 - $133,700.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
