We are seeking a Product Manager for our Reedsburg, WI water treatment company. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the following areas:
Working with water treatment systems in residential, commercial, and industrial applicationsManaging coordination and integration of technical activities relating to the production of all water treatment productsSupervising the work of an engineer who prepares product specificationsSelecting and collaborating with a team of experts including chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software development engineers to develop innovative water treatment technologiesConferring with management to establish technical goals for each productAnalyzing current products for quality, performance, and serviceability and finding ways to improve efficiency and durabilityAssessing new product feasibility by analyzing technology and required financial and material resourcesSetting and monitoring product standards and examining raw materials to ensure quality finished productsWorking with engineers to design equipment modifications to improve efficiency and durabilitySourcing and visiting foreign manufacturing partners' facilities to review their internal capabilities and ability to deliver quality products on budget and on timeConferring with the marketing department to develop digital assets with accurate project specificationsMonitoring inventory levels to ensure a consistent supply of component parts and finished products to meet customer demandStaying abreast of product innovations and new technologies in the water treatment industry and determining potential areas for new product developmentPreparing and presenting budgets for new products to the senior management teamTelecommuting within the U.S. is permitted with travel to Reedsburg, WI, at least once every 8 weeks. Expect 50% domestic and international travel.
