The Monetization pod at Coursera owns the strategy, vision and roadmap to drive consumer revenue across all types of products. You will lead the team tasked with maximizing paid conversion through pricing, subscriptions & packaging and seamless user experiences.
You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment, advocating for continuous improvement, and ensuring our product offerings remain competitive. This position is crucial for driving the success and evolution of Coursera's products.
Responsibilities: Lead product innovation initiatives to improve user experience and team efficiency. Own the product backlog, prioritizing features to align with user needs and business objectives. Develop and deliver comprehensive product strategies and requirements for key features. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive seamless product execution. Conduct user research and analyze feedback to advocate for user-centric design and inform decision-making. Create and oversee go-to-market plans for new features to ensure successful rollouts. Basic Qualifications: Experience with product management, including developing and prioritizing product backlogs. Demonstrated history of collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, design, marketing). Background in conducting user research and making data-driven product decisions. Proficiency in developing and communicating product strategies and requirements. Experience coordinating go-to-market plans and feature rollouts. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of product management frameworks like RICE. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and A/B testing. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic database concepts. Experience using market analysis tools such as Crunchbase. Strong advocacy for user-centric design and experience working with UX designers. Compensation
Coursera offers competitive pay and equitable compensation practices. Our job titles may span more than one career level. This role's targeted hiring base salary range is between $116,000 and 146,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, and geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
