Position Overview: The Product Manager Membership (PM or Sr. PM) will partner closely with the Head of Membership and the Director of Product Management to drive the strategy, development, and execution of Dorsia's paid membership programs. You will be responsible for creating and executing a roadmap that enhances the membership experience, drives growth, and ensures member retention. Working cross-functionally with teams across engineering, design, and marketing, this role combines technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of user-centric design.
The ideal candidate has extensive product management experience, preferably within membership-based companies, and a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions that align with business objectives.
In This Role, You Will Product Ownership and Strategy Lead the development of Dorsia's paid membership product, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. Own the product roadmap and oversee a dedicated squad of engineers, designers, and QA professionals. Monitor, analyze, and report on key membership metrics, including applications, conversion rates, member activation, engagement, and retention. Identify and prioritize new feature opportunities to enhance the in-app experience and perceived value for members. Define and execute experiments to optimize conversion and engagement rates. Drive growth by achieving new paid member targets, measured by the acquisition of qualified new members and upgrades to paid membership tiers. Deeply understand the preferences, behaviors, feedback, and sentiment of Dorsia members, using these insights to advocate for and prioritize roadmap features Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Membership, Engineering, Design, and QA teams to ensure seamless execution of product priorities. Develop and distribute training materials and guides for internal and external stakeholders to facilitate product understanding and adoption. Coordinate with Product Marketing to ensure smooth handoffs and effective communication for product launches. Provide tools and training to internal and external teams, enabling them to effectively manage membership processes and quality control. Data-Driven Decision-Making Utilize advanced analytical skills to work with data and collaborate with data teams independently. Leverage insights to drive product decisions and inform strategies to enhance member satisfaction. Identify and report on trends related to member feedback, recommending product or benefit improvements to address areas of concern and increase satisfaction. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a high-caliber product organization. Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives from ideation to launch. Skills: Strong understanding of engineering needs and scrum/agile methodologies. Expert understanding of Membership needs and lifecycle. Experience owning a product in the restaurant-tech, retail, or payments space. Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, presenting directly to Leadership. Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure. Attributes: Passion for food, art, and enhancing user experiences. Good judgment in decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Comfort in a lean startup environment, able to handle shifting priorities. Qualifications: Experience with integrations (POS systems, payments platforms). Early-stage startup experience. Familiarity with SQL, Enterprise CDP (like Segment, mParticle, etc.), Mixpanel/Amplitude. Compensation & Benefits: Salary ranges are based on competitive pay for our size and stage.
