Job Summary You will report to the Group Product Manager and lead the Global Ophthalmology Product Portfolio!
You will develop and own the product roadmap, manage product lifecycles, and co-develop go-to-market and sales strategies.
You will build business cases to support business goals by understanding our markets, customers, and competitors, and act as the voice of the business and customer to ensure our products meet market needs.
Additionally, you will develop and implement competitive and profitable product positioning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Product Leadership: Lead the Ophthalmic business and product portfolio, aligning product strategy with business objectives.
New Product Development: Own, develop and execute the product roadmap strategy, including identifying new products and product improvements.
Conduct business case analysis, financial modeling, and strategic prioritization for new projects.
Define customer requirements through direct engagement with customers Manage the product lifecycles from concept, enhancements and end-of-life decisions.
Profit and Loss Ownership: Set product strategies to drive margin & EBITDA growth.
Identify and evaluate cost reduction initiatives, partnering with operations.
Own, develop, and implement competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
Monitor and manage business performance for products, including global revenue and margin, trends, drivers, and forecasting.
Plan and execute product launches, establish and enhance product positioning.
Gather customer feedback to ensure products meet customer needs.
Collaborate with sales to drive market penetration and revenue growth through comprehensive sales strategies.
Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with commercial teams, key customers, and key opinion leaders.
Work cross-functionally with R&D/Operations, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory and others to achieve business goals.
Support the development of product marketing and sales tools.
Support product training.
Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Bachelors degree with 3-5+ years of product marketing and commercial launch experience in the medical device industry, including 2-3+ years experience in upstream marketing.
