With locations throughout the USA, Mexico, and Netherlands, it has a global footprint. eldoLED is part of Acuity Brands Lighting and is a combination of the "original" eldoLED company and the acquisition of Digital Systems Osram NA.We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the eldoLED Driver team with responsibility for all aspects of product lifecycle management for our North America Outdoor and Industrial driver portfolio. This role reports to the Senior Director Product Management for eldoLED. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Business ExecutionAchieving business goals and key performance indicators (KPI); includes accountability for top line sales, product vitality, margin, and quality. Finished good inventory? This has been in the past not sure if it will change moving fwd.Understanding and executing the product strategy.Drive on-time delivery of the products, providing clear specifications where required (e.g. hardware), but be agile when needed (e.g. software).Engaging and supporting internal and external customers.Business StrategyAligning product roadmap with business strategy and priorities.Understand general lighting and technology trends, and assess the competitive landscape for the products in scope.Gathering inputs to assist in creation of strategy (i.e. situational analysis, market landscape, baseline for roadmap, etc.).New Product DevelopmentUnderstanding the commercial and industrial lighting and drivers markets, products, and competitors.Identifying product / market opportunities to exploit.Developing compelling business cases for new products and other opportunities.Define the launch and marketing strategy in collaboration with the Sales team and Marketing team.Actioning the product go-to-market strategy, including launch and post-launch activities.Life Cycle ManagementContributing to Integrated Business Plan to manage business forecast and product life cycle, including product line rationalization.Act as the subject matter expert for the respective product line across functions to achieve sales growth and other KPIs.Own competitive product positioning, pricing and margins.Skills and Minimum Experience Required3+ years in product management, product marketing, and/or technology roles.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business required.Exemplary communication skills with demonstrable ability to identify stakeholders needs and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.Strong product acumen with an obsession over customer needs.Proven experience in managing products across the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-life.Able to quickly learn technical concepts and apply that to strategy and plans.Skilled in using MS Office applicationsPreferred Skills and Experience5+ years in product management for LED drivers, fluorescent/HID ballasts, or similar electronics devices.Master of Business Administration (MBA).Experience leading a cross-functional team with accountability for product delivery in a matrix organization.Demonstrated technical understanding of product category and market dynamics.Experience with DALI, D4i, and other lighting control technologies.Proficient using PowerBITravel RequirementsTravelVisit customers to understand their needs, help design-ins, and build relationships.Attend and support internal face-to-face meetings across company locations including the USA, Mexico, and the Netherlands.25%-40% travel expected.We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.  All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regards to race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ethnicity or national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, covered veteran status, protected genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. Please click here and here for more information.Accommodation for Applicants with Disabilities:  As an equal opportunity employer, Acuity Brands is committed to providing reasonable accommodations in its application process for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
