ROLE DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the Ultrasound (Radiology / POC / Vet) product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including customer requirements, defining the product vision, marketing the product, and working with engineering, clinical, sales, and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction.This position requires 50% travel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedChampion continual product improvement while balancing the need to deliver enhancements in a cost efficient mannerFoster a culture of problem solving and knowledge sharing throughout the organizationManage the product line life cycle from strategic planning through marketing and salesFoster collaboration and communication to secure commitment between departments to ensure common goals are achievedFacilitate brainstorming sessions to identify innovative solutions to customer problemsWork directly with development teams to build solutions that meet the needs of customersBring new products to market, analyze product requirements, prepare ROA analysis, establish time, and budget plansResponsible for writing marketing material and making technical presentations throughout the world at key symposiums and tradeshowsParticipate in the business development team by making technical demos to customers and prospectsLead group discussions and engage stakeholders from all functional areas of the business, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in one-on-one and group settingsEngage users to define, refine, validate, and document business requirementsConduct customer interviews to stay abreast of the problems clients are experiencing and openly share what is learned with colleaguesMap business requirements to potential technology-based solutions, and identify opportunities for additional process improvementsDevelop project proposals, plans, and timelines, including estimates of client and staff effort required for completionProvide high-quality solutions and deliverables within defined timelinesRespond gracefully to change and update plans, documents, and test plans accordinglyPrioritize team resources and direct efforts towards the most critical ideas and tasksRepresent Company at key events, functions, trade shows, and forums related to select key customers, accounts, societies, and as requiredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or comparable experience preferredPrior experience in technical product development a plusProven experience and success in marketing, in both written and oral forms, requiredDemonstrated success in the ability to lead and take a stance based upon statistics and market researchExperience managing complex, multi-faceted projects, preferably in a healthcare related field, with a proven track record of delivering resultsAbility to independently set and manage multiple competing priorities while guiding others and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environmentUnderstanding of essential elements of effective marketing campaigns (branding, messaging, sales collateral, PR, advertising, direct marketing, Web, etc.)Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; Developed writing, editing, and proofreading abilities; and ability to communicate with medical professionals, scientists, peers, and senior managementWilling to travel internationally and overnightBudget, expense, and resource management experience requiredCOMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLSMust be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to managementExpertise with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, Google ChromePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSRegularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOccasionally required to Push/pull weights of over 100 pounds when setting up/dismantling trade shows and/or maneuvering Company equipment into place for displayFrequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hearMust be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travellingMust be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple daysInteraction with x-ray devices;
