Roles & ResponsibilitiesSets the Product Vision and Roadmap for the Value Streams, with input and buy in from the Business Owners and Lean Portfolio Management.
Regularly conduct market and customer research, bringing an externally focused mindset to the product vision and roadmap.
Articulate this vision and roadmap to the Agile Release Train, providing purpose and understanding of cause.
Support the production of Lean Business Cases, Epic identification, and feature refinement at the Lean portfolio level!
Prioritize features and negotiate enablers in the program Backlog using WSJF.
Has Product Backlog content authority.
Collaborate and set expectations with Product Owners, stakeholders, customers, and architects.
Help to drive the Programme Increment planning.
Work with other Product Managers to identify and manage dependencies that could impact the PI plan and/or Product Vision and Roadmap.
Lead design teams to help shape the vision and roadmap.
Collaborate with Release/Programme management.Required SkillsHighly numerate with strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Product and Pricing.
Ability to identify financial risks and issues and implement process improvements.
Experience working on complex change programs.
Technology experience, with infrastructure and cloud experience preferable.
Strong financial modelling skills.
Ability to step back from detail to drive strategic perspective.
Excellent project management skills including Strong influencing skills, ability to build relationships and deliver robust challenge at all levels of the business and the ability to develop 'subject matter expert' status across multiple business units.
High degree of personal initiative and ability to work well as part of a team.
Ability to adapt rapidly to meet changing priorities/deadlines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex messages to internal/external audiences at all levels.
Ability to present and communicate finances in a meaningful and insightful manner, using data visualization techniques when useful.
