WM Analytics & Data (A&D) owns all the management reporting, customer and product behavior insights, and predictive modeling in support of WM, Banking, and Marketing. The WM A&D User Experience Data Collection team drives strategy and execution of platforms that collect quantitative and qualitative data about users experience across wealth management and firmwide digital properties and activities.
The WM A&D User Experience Data Collection team is searching for an Assistant Vice President (Product Owner – Digital Data Collection), who will partner with firmwide marketing and analytics teams to define and execute the digital data capture roadmap for morganstanley.com marketing analytics. In this role you will manage the day-to-day Adobe Analytics tagging needs and play an instrumental role in implementing effective data collection across all MS.com web properties. This role will report directly to the Executive Director, User Experience Data Collection.
Responsibilities :
-Design, own, and execute on the measurement strategy(tagging design) and Adobe Analytics product roadmap for MS.com.
-Act as a clickstream data collection SME for analytics teams, consulting on data collection requirements, defining KPIs and create functional tagging specification documents.
-Understand business needs and convert them to data collection technical requirements.
-Define the next generation roadmap (move to Adobe WebSDK, AEP, CJA) for user experience data collection on MS.com.
-Manage the tag management backlog, partner with engineering teams to prioritize work, perform UAT and provide signoffs for production deployments.
-Advocate for data integrity, including developing and maintaining data quality scorecards.
-Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a data or analytics role, preferably in the clickstream data collection space.
-Must have experience in implementing web analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Heap etc.
-Must have experience in translating analytics requirements into clickstream data collection solutions (i.e., define deliverables for tech partners)
-Familiarity with the workings of Tag Management Systems (Adobe Launch), Consent Management tools (Evidon/One Trust) and Adtech platforms
-Ability to work independently with a strong sense of accountability/ownership.
-Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
-Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
-Experience working with a global team.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
