POSITION DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced Product Specialist to leverage analytical and domain expertise to ensure that Sayari products maintain unparalleled quality and always exceed customer expectations.
\n JOB RESPONSIBILITIESData Quality Enhancements: Utilize your deep domain expertise to proactively identify, diagnose, and analyze weaknesses or opportunities to improve the quality of existing Sayari data and advise Data Sourcing Managers on how to respond. You will be expected to proactively identify gaps in our existing data coverage and pinpoint shortcomings in our parsers, holding your teammates accountable for addressing these issues. Your assertiveness in this role will be crucial to our success.Define Acceptance Criteria: We want to ensure data releases exceed customer expectations, not just meet technical acceptance criteria. You will be empowered to define success metrics and acceptance criteria for data features in close collaboration with Product Managers, Data Sourcing Managers, and our in-house Product Expert team. You will be empowered to hold Data Sourcing Managers accountable for ensuring that parsers maintain fidelity to the source data.Data Acquisition Evaluation: You will be instrumental in evaluating whether data acquisition targets meet success criteria, leveraging your analytical expertise and understanding of our users' needs. The Data Acquisition team will consult with you when evaluating their data backlog and defining data types, countries, and attributes that will drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Release Testing: Actively manage new data releases alongside Engineering QA/QC, with an eye toward identifying complex issues and / or unintended consequences that may only be apparent to an analyst like you. You will document findings with every data release, and report your insights to Data Sourcing Managers and your direct manager. You will be empowered to define SOPs required for release testing, leverage engineering QC where needed, and decide whether a data release candidate is fit to be customer-facing with a user-first mindset.Critical Escalations: Triage escalations for complex customer issues that require urgent resolution, in coordination with Solutions and Engineering QA/QC teams. Diagnose the root causes of escalated issues, and provide Data Sourcing Managers with detailed feedback and recommendations.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on data quality metrics and outcomes to product and engineering leadership. You will report directly to our Product Expert function to ensure you are empowered to discuss quality concerns openly and candidly. Maintain Domain Expertise: You will need to keep your knowledge and skills sharp in order to stay effective in this role. You will proactively maintain your product and domain expertise by regularly using our products, engaging with Solutions, following market and regulatory trends, and more. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE3+ years of analytical or investigative experience, including experience with trade data and/or supporting supply chain and trade compliance investigations.Comfortable and creative with data analysis tools, preferably Hex and BigQuery.Passion for enabling the missions of our customers.Thrives on new challenges and comfortable wearing many hats; start-up mindset with experience in high-growth/SaaS environments.Excellent communication skills; shares complex information clearly and concisely; plays well with others.Critical thinker with exceptional prioritization and time management skills; can problem-solve and move quickly under pressure.Displays curiosity and the ability to build, measure, and learn; growth mentality. DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEDirect experience using Sayari data and productsProfessional language proficiency in Chinese or RussianProficiency with SalesforceTechnical background and/or interest
\n$100,000 - $115,000 a year
The target base salary for this position is $100,000-$115,000 plus quarterly bonus and equity. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, candidate experience and expertise, internal peer equity, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
