This position plays a key role in growing the sales of equipment and aftermarkets associated to the UFS, one of Screening Business Line's Planet Positive products. Through technical product ownership this position is involved in the support of today's customer opportunities and installations as well as tomorrow's product development. The incumbent excels through expert product knowledge, the ability to support a broad range of UFS related activities and active leadership in a complex global matrix organization.This position can work remotely, but travel when needed. Travel can be up to 30% time.Team you belong toYou will join a team of screening specialists who are passionate about solving customer challenges including the need for sustainability and digitalization. One of our priorities is growing our planet positive sales - Ultra Fine Screening being one of the related products.We work closely with customers globally and maintain a strong network across Metso to solve customer challenges. Together with you we will be covering all regions around the globe and key collaborators are in US, Brazil, Europe, Australia and other locations.What you'll doApplication and product specialistBe the application and product specialist within Metso for UFS equipment and associated aftermarkets Collaborate with RTD engineers and laboratories to develop & extend application knowledge and update application tools (Bruno, HSC, etc.) Validate sizing methods in laboratory and on site through customer pilots Track performance across process and product features and initiative improvement projects as necessary Coordination of critical product activitiesSupport product manager and operations with the coordination of critical supplier contract development Support product managers and operations with the evaluation of alternative vendors, inhouse capabilities as well as sampling of new third party products Evaluate customer claims technically and with related Product Managers Technical product ownershipDevelop and own product specifications and configurations Provide recommendations on the development of new products as well as optimization of existing products to improve performance, quality or cost competitiveness Support and trainingExpert application and product support including training for the regions to support active customer cases and knowledge sharing Create required global training materials Who you are3-5 years of experience in ultra-fine screening application and process 8-10 years relevant work experience in mining and heavy machinery industries Bachelors or Masters degree preferred or relevant experience Good analytical skills to influence sizing development paired with hands on support for lab and site test work Language skills: Fluent English required (verbal and written); other language skills are seen as a plus Will to take ownership and carry responsibility.
