Institutional Credit Management Business Manager (C13) Citi continues to enhance its business control and governance framework by building out Institutional Credit Management (ICM), a new function in the 1st Line of Defense, to house and consistently manage credit risk activities performed across its Institutional Client Group organization. ICM's objective is to provide integrated "end-to-end" credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit risk across the enterprise. Within ICM, the Credit Product Strategy & Operations organization is designed to lead and manage the operational and governance functions to design, execute, monitor, and govern the global credit strategy across ICM including Talent, Training, Staffing, Communications, Governance, and Controls.
This role will report to ICM's Head of Talent and Communications.
Key Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for supporting all recurring and ad-hoc processes related to training, talent, engagement, and communications across Institutional Credit Management including:Direct training and communications support for the Wholesale Lending Product Management pillar, in addition to others across the ICM organizationPartnership with ICM pillar and industry heads and any direct training staff within the ICM pillars to ascertain core training needs related to systems, processes, and job functions and support where neededResponsibility for routine and ad hoc training reportingAdministrative processes associated with Credit Officer and Senior Credit Officer designationCompilation of presentation materials related to the end-to-end performance management process, specific to the ICM organizationOrganize and lead ICM-wide VOE initiatives and partner with pillar and industry heads to increase participation in centrally driven activitiesSupport the Head of ICM Talent and Communications on ad hoc projects as neededPartner with Head of Talent and Communications as well as the Training and Communications Leads to monitor and track key performance drivers across ICM.Determine appropriate metrics to measure performance across all ICM pillarsPartner with internal ICM reporting teams to track and measure progress and performance in a simple and consistent wayKey Competencies: Strong business acumen and executive presence with the ability to execute the strategic vision of the organizationExcellent organizational, planning, analytical and influencing skills, leveraged in a global team and often "virtual" environmentDetail-oriented, but comfortable partnering at the strategic level as wellDemonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects, and schedules simultaneouslyStrong communication and presentation skills; comfortable working directly with business heads and senior executivesProactive problem-solving skills; able to formulate creative solutions to day-to-day problems and make decisions in an expedited manner if neededAbility to interact, gain buy-in from and influence effectively with diverse cultures and backgrounds, at times with people outside of direct reporting structureAbility to organize and prioritize deliverables, often with concurrent deadlines and shifting prioritiesAbility to manage thru ambiguity and make decisions without constant guidanceDemonstrates a sense of urgency, with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and high-energy work environmentAble to perform primary job function independently, and without a great deal of direct supervisionExperience and Qualifications: BA/BS or higher degree in Finance, Human Resources, or Business administration; or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance, Risk Management, Operations, Underwriting, Human Resources, or Project Management function.
