Overview:
The Production Assistant (PA) reports to the designated Event Operations Manager and/or Director.
The main responsibility of the PA is to help facilitate, on the day of the event, execution of load in, show and load out for the event.
When hired for an event, the PA monitors and assists with concerts, sporting events, family shows. This role will pay a daily wage of $300. For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with load in for events.Assist clients with set-up and breakdown of dressing rooms, various ancillary events and activationsFlexible work schedule.
Must be able to work some weekendsPerform various administrative support duties that are highly sensitive and confidentialEstablish and maintain effective communication with building departments Manage last minute tasks and changes with little to no directionHandles all duties with grace, sophistication and professionalismAbility to learn new tasks quickly and efficiently, and to anticipate needs
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years concert / production experience; similar venue experience a plus Physical Dimensions: Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking.
Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
